Gender? 2 Blue Cochins

I bought two Blue Cochins one is light and the other one is darker. Aren't the males usually darker and if so does this hold true for the chicks also.

I am actually glad you posted. I have a 3 week old Cochin chick and no others to compare with. I have had a hard time telling gender. Thought it was a roo, but after seeing your pics I think it's a pullet, as it looks very much like your lighter blue chick in comb size/color.

Yep - looks like a pair. Its not just the coloration - its the relative comb size and wattles on the one on the left as well.
