So Derby's foster mom is the Buff Orpington? I love these pictures so much! Thank you for sharing them with us. Derby looks happy. The first picture is kinda funny. I started hearing in my mind "One of these things is not like the others" Such a precious little flock of happy adorable fluffs and a very proud mama hen

The mother hen is a 5 1/2 year-old buff Orpington and her name is popcorn and she’s the sweetest one I’ve ever had. I am a teacher and I take her to school with me quite frequently because the kids love it and she has such awesome manners. She is so good natured but don’t let anybody mess with her babies, LOL. I have 4 Easter Eggers and 3 buffs. Popcorn’s babies are fertilized eggs I got from one of my friends and I don’t know what they are. She is an awesome mother. There are four roosters in the chicks and they are not staying.

One more update on Derby! She is doing great and gets along with her chicken family so well! She is also able to get in and out of her little pool by herself now! Yay! I included a picture so that you can see the transformation that she has made in the last three weeks. She truly is a miracle.
