This is a really good one since there are a ton of breeds that have similar coloring...you have to really pay attention to detail here.

I don't think leghorns would have the "top hat" feathering...

Yeah....I saw the little tuft feathering and didn't think Leghorns had that, but thought I'd give it a try.

They are Altsteirer hens. According to the site, they are single combed, but the hens have a small crest behind the small comb.

IKR! What I found interesting in that breed was the unusual single comb of the hen.

Nope, Wellies lay brown eggs. The gery-ish green was from a mixed breed bird. I'd been playing around with mixing EE and barred Rocks and Leghorns and that egg was one of my more unusual shades. My other Wellie had a more speckled egg.....
