Gender? And one other question regarding mottled cochins... (Pic Heavy I think)

I am thinking all pullets, but could easily be mistaken... Especially with Silky there I'm okay with anything though... All were born before 3/4.

S/He wanted to be pictured... Posed the whole time... Very curious and has been from the day I brought it home.

Mottled Cochin... (Will s/he stay unmottled? Or does it change as they age?)

Not sure what to photo with this Splash Silky... S/he did NOT want pictures taken.

And just because he wanted to be in every pic and was rather difficult to shoo away... (HE started strutting at 3-4 days old...)

all pullets and the cohins look more like they are black and the one looks like it doesnt have many leg feathers either...they should be mottled by at least 6 months of age or looking more like a mottled by then

Just checking... Are you saying that they may not actually be mottled (as in plain black) or that they just have to fluff out before the mottling becomes apparent?

what did they look like as chicks (the down/fuzz)?

The black and white ones are the ones shown... One broke his foot (no clue how...) so we shot it, but the other two were the ones pictured above...
