What age is that cutie?? I have one also. I am waiting to see if mine crows or not. It is 11.5 weeks old and it has a comb and wattles that some days look pink and some look red.

Also hard to see the comb color in the pic.

How old? I have a 1 week old partridge cochin and it definately acts like a roo but too young to tell. Bumps chest with everyone and everything, challenges all the chicks, beautiful little guy and loves to be cuddled. Your little one looks like a pullet but that comb makes me wonder...lovely either way!

I'm going to say 5 weeks old? I don't know for sure - when I picked this one up, it was clearly older than the few day/week olds that I got along with this one. And no roo behavior yet.... it's usually just chilling out and snuggling. Keeping to itself a bit.

The color of the comb hasn't changed, it's still very yellow. The seller sold it as a roo, but I'm just not seeing it! How often do you buy a chick thinking it's a roo and it ends up being a pullet instead of the other way around LOL!

OK, that would be awesome! I'll do that tomorrow morning.... get some outdoors light and the real camera out instead of the cell phone. I'll get a pic of my other cochin, nugget, the TEENIEST thing also.

I will guess pullet.

I had a group of black cochin bantams and one pullet I felt sure was a roo until she was 3 months old when all the other "boys" combs got red and they starting acting like roos
