Absolutely! You will know for sure at 6 weeks. Can you keep him???Are the early waddles and comb a sign?
We would like to keep him but we would have to see how bad the crowing is with neighbors nearby. We know that roosters can be beneficial and we obviously have a bond with all of them, but we do not own a lot of land far enough and don't want to cause problems. If not, we would love to send him to a farm where he can live a long life.Absolutely! You will know for sure at 6 weeks. Can you keep him???
Sapphire gems are sexed linked and this is how they looked as chicks, does that mean sex linked can still be inaccurate?Absolutely! You will know for sure at 6 weeks. Can you keep him???
Ok so heres my take on this from my research. Sapphire gem males have a barred appearance. Either yours is 1.female, 2. Not a sapphire gem, or 3. Not from a hatch that was bred correctly. It could definitely be number 3 as I've read some hatcheries were not able to sex them at birth which indicated messy breeding on their end.Sapphire gems are sexed linked and this is how they looked as chicks, does that mean sex linked can still be inaccurate?
