Gender guesses on barred rocks

Are we still thinking all girls??

Yeah one of them is lighter, but only when they are outside can you tell, so thats why i'm iffy on that one.
 
I have some Plymouth Rock crosses and I was wondering what an easy way is to identify hens or roosters. They all seem to have combs and waddles. I have 18 of them and I would really like to believe they're not all roosters

Thanks! Rocky Road, I know one good way to tell hens from roosters is the redness of their combs early on.

Watch that grey one at around 7 weeks , if it still hasnt gone red then its a pullet but in my own experience with raising barred rocks lighter feathers have always meant roo of course with red comb but if it remains skin color then they are all pullets.

Don't forget too before they lay eggs their combs will go blood red thats when you know its time for eggs
