These three chickens are about 13 weeks old and I'm pretty sure they're a cross between Jersey giant and Rhode Island. This is my first time keeping chickens and I'm not sure if I'm misunderstanding the signs of the gender but I think I have two males and one female (I already have plans of what to do with the extra male. I also have a number of other chicks growing up to try to get our guy some more girls) IMG_20250828_122631196_HDR.jpg in this first image, I'm pretty sure the one on the right may be female due to the kinda rounded tail feathers.
IMG_20250828_123224422_HDR.jpg in this second image, I'm fairly certain this is a cockerel due to the tail feather shape, though this one has not attempted to crow yet to my knowledge. IMG_20250828_125124031_HDR.jpg IMG_20250828_125116107_HDR.jpg IMG_20250828_125100568_HDR.jpg these last few pics are of the one that I'm pretty sure is crowing. (And by far the most agreeable to pictures and handling, obviously haha) I'm very sure that this is the male I'm going to be keeping.

I am looking for experienced eyes because to me, all of their waddles and combs seem comparable in size and color, and I acknowledge I may indeed have three cockerels on my hands.

Thank you for your time and input y'all! (Also don't mind the guinea photo bombing, I don't think he liked me messing with his flock 😂)

I'm not much help on the gender ID question (I have readily distinguishable bantams,) but I will say that the only two BJG's I've ever had bore significant combs and wattles - and both were females.
Interesting! Maybe there's hope then! When the combs/wattles were developing, one did develop faster but then I saw the tail feathers on the smallest one and was unsure, still am. Thanks for the input :)
