Oh good catch. I didn't even look past the comb and wattles.That's a white crested black Polish, not a Houdan. I agree that both are likely cockerels.
His body feathers have no mottling, he has a white crest instead of a mottled one, has no beard, no fifth toe, his legs are black instead of white with spots, and he has a thin build. All that says Polish to me, not Houdan.he's supposed to be a b&w mottled houdan, i can post a better pic or pics of parents

Looks totally different from my other polish with his weird spots, then his head crest grew as a straight mohawk and the others males and females all got big fluffy head feathers, with the females getting very rounded feathers. Yeah, but Polish can be variable, just like any other breed. He looks happy and healthy, and that's the most important thing.holy smokes!! thanks for the info.
