Does anyone know if these 2 7 week old Easter egger chicks are hens or roos?

Can you get some face pictures please? It's hard to tell without seeing comb/waddles. I have never seen white Easter Eggers, they are beautiful!

Hmm, that comb is awful red on the first one. I would say that's a roo. Also, the first one does not have muffs while the second does, are you sure the first is an Easter Egger? (can someone please tell me if all EE's have muffs?) The second one I can't see the comb very well, but it looks like it's less red than the first. So no. 2 may be a pullet, though time (and/or better pictures of her comb) will tell.

I was thinking the same. The 1st 1 stands taller, doesn't have as much muffs and tail feathers are narrow. The 2nd 1 stands lower, is more feathered and more muffs so I thought hen. Thank you!

More muffs does not indicate male/female. Here is a photo of one of my Easter Egger's who is laying an egg in the wrong place. Notice how large her muffs and beard are.

Not all EE have muffs. If the saddle feathers of the presumed male are pointy that's the best tell as of now but I can't see super well by the pics; looks like they're actually quite rounded which would mean pullet but like I said hard to tell for sure. I'm getting a white EE with my chicks arriving soon, love them, remind me of doves. Best of luck with yours!

Saddle feathers don't start coming in until 12 weeks or so. These are 7 weeks old, so both males and females will have round feathers. Thanks for the info on the muffs!
