I have used crow collars they work fairly well if you buy a decent one and make sure its on properly, they wont stop it all together but its quieter and it stops them 'dragging' their crow out for a long period of time.
Ishould have tried on my black sumatra rooster when he was younger because I cant get one on him now because hes just such a drama queen lol, I put it on, he freaks out tries to back away from it so ultimately just walks back wards falling everywhere, then he lays down like hes dead and i get distressed so I take it off him, i know if I leave it he will eventually get used to it but he just acts like such a baby it makes me feel bad
so I dont have one on him but he doesnt crow overly often I find my smaller breeds (bantum phoenix) crow constantly,although not as loud they just like to do it alllll day long, (small chicken syndrome)
