Gender of these 3 8ish week olds?

If this effects your decision, the RIR will charge my dog when the dog runs at the pen. It is not the top chicken of the group tho. My BO pulley seems to run the show so far.

Having recently raised a clutch of Barred Rock chicks I would guess by the feathering that the one you have is a cockerel but the dark feet make me less sure.

All three are looking like cockerels.

1. Cockerel. Big comb, and red wattles. Male feathering.
2. Cockerel. Red comb. Splotchy coloring with red.
3. Cockerel. Red comb and wattles.

BR pullets should be darker, with narrower bars. Cockerels generally have wider bars and are lighter in color. It's something about color inheritance of barring. I agree about the EE too. More pictures in a few weeks! Mary
