Hi,

Can you help me figure out the gender of this 11-week old chicken? She looks different from my other 2 easter eggers I posted previously, which everyone thinks were male. I'm hoping she's a girl!

why does she/he look like a rooster? that would be horrible luck, with 5/5 eggs that hatched boys!

I'm curious too...her color is definitely female, at first glance I was thinking pullet 100%. The last picture looks like there are saddle feathers though. Keep us posted.

Pullet. Some have a little arc to the feathers in the saddle but they aren't pointy or skinny like the ones a male gets.

That's a pullet. this color easter eggers often look like their feathers are pointed when it's just the faux lacing. Plus, 11 weeks is really pushing the early end for hackle/saddle feathers. Her color is classic easter egger female.
