Gender on Silkies (I know, not an exact science)

That's Poppa G in the pic with Princess. Poppa G, Princess, and Pip all hang together, while Squeak and Anonymous (yeah, we couldn't think of a name) hang together.

If they are boys, would I be able to feel a spur bump on the leg? I tried to get some better head shots this morning, but Squeak just wouldn't cooperate. Maybe some of these will help. I swear, it's gonna be the egg or crow method. LOL

Princess (who wouldn't surprise me if she's a he because every time my niece names a chicken, it turns out to be a boy)

Poppa G is the only one from my stock; the others came from eggs I got on eBay. I prefer bearded Silkies and was surprised when most of the chicks hatched out non-bearded.

Figures that Pip is the only girl.

Anon is the only one allowed in the coop with the rest of the chickens. All the other chicklets are chased out. Guess I'll know in a few more weeks, come egg or crow. LOL
