Gender question of Polish bird

O.K., I'm not crazy and this is all true but the man just called me as I had given him my cell phone number and apologized. He still has the bird and turns out that alot of people wanted her at once but I am getting her as I was the first to get in touch with him. He was very nice and sincere and sounds like he has a lot of birds. I think some of his kids were trying to stay up on who was supposed to get her and e-mailed me by mistake with the last message. He said it was a big mix up. I will get her Friday for sure. That was an emotional roller coaster for a short while. I should have waited before I posted it but I had to vent to someone! Thanks for listening. Maybe in a few weeks I'll post pictures. The black and white bird did sell already. If I had more room and time I would have bought most of the ones he had advertised.

Well, from what I've seen from doing lots of craigslist deals, people seem to consider that the place where its okay to be an irresponsible flake.

The other thing that seems to be happening is that the worse the economy gets, the more people start "looking out for number 1" rather than actually having some integrity.

It's a sad state of affairs. It makes me feel even more grateful for those lovely folks who email me promptly about wanting to buy something I've posted, come and pick it up as scheduled, and pay the correct amount in cash. Yay!

Just had a sweet lady buy a coop from me yesterday and that's just how it played out. There are still some good people out there.

She'll make you very happy. Polish hens never fail to please.

I have friends who have been cheated out of birds before, for stupid reasons that make little sense. I hate people who sell their birds as an object to any who please, regardless of who came to them first. This is why I never get too excited over getting a new bird. False hope is never a good feeling. I'm sorry you had to go through that.

Wow, I went and got her early and she's so pretty and sweet. The rest of the pictures are what is still for sale or was. Any guess looking at these as to gender?

Hen on the first one- Polish
Second one is a Spitz, looks like a hen
Third one is a houdan, can't tell, looks like a roo.
Fourth one is a sultan, I have no idea
Fifth one looks like a Splash Polish(I think I see some dark feathers), looks like a hen.

#1-Polish, I'm thinking hen-interesting color! Looks almost to be a dark blue.

#2-Appenzeller Spitzhauben-hen.

#3-Houdan, I think it's a hen.

#4-White Sultan-hen.

#5-Looks like a Splash Polish hen, but the pic is too blurry to tell gender. It might be a rooster.

Oooooo - I LIKE the bird in the second pic!!! I mean, I like them all, but I REALLY like #2!!! Are all spitz's that color? I'm going to have to do some research on them!
