The Buff is a pullet. And, yeah, the one in the background is a Mottled Houdan. Looks like a girl.

I'd snag her also.

I really appreciate the folks who know Polish well and can list the things to look for to determine gender on these lovely birds. I have two, a Buff Laced and a White Crested Black, which I picked up from a straight run box at a feed store. I'm needing to sell them if they are males, but I'd love for them to be female.

Could folks in the know tell me what to look for?

Well now I feel like someone smacked me in my face. The last e-mail I got from the seller last night said I could get her, they would even give me a few days to post the picture and I replied I wanted her and they even gave me an address and their schedule. Now I get one this morning saying they let someone have her last night and I also noticed the add is off the Craigslist. I am literally crying here. And so now I apologize to you guys as I feel like I've wasted your time. I e-mailed him back and asked him if it was a joke or what. Has anyone ever had this happen?
