I have a challenge for you. He or she is a true blue Americauna hen x red Easter egger roo cross. This chick is atleast 8 weeks old. It has a pink straight looking comb but it is not red yet. I'm guessing roo due to the hot pink color and the tiny bit of red across its back, but because of how pretty it is, I am waiting to hear a crow or see an egg laid. I don't have any body pictures yet. Nothing in the body is bigger or longer than its siblings. What do you guys think?

I'd say roo from the amount of pink already showing... would like to see side pics though too... blue boys have a slightly different patterning to their feathers plus if there's leakage it will show it more if a boy...

This bird is completely gray with a very small amount of color across the back. I'll take a picture tomorrow of the sides and top. He or she may be anywhere from 8-10 weeks old.

Why do the pretty ones always end up being ones I can't keep?
