Gender?

So this bird is around 12 weeks old. I was told she/he was an EE. This is the only one from the bunch that looks like this so hard to compare. It does hide behind one of the other EEs who I know is a Roo.
Opinions?!

I think that may be a black copper Marans. Straight comb, black copper coloring, feathered legs, looks to have white/pink skin from what I can see of the toes.

I guess you'll know for sure when she lays.

Lol it's okay. Yes it hides behind the for sure Roo. I got them in a bunch of 4 and the 3 hide behind the Roo from the other birds and from Me. So I have always just assumed it was a hen but the color around the neck was making me wonder.

Nope, chocolate brown.

first pic, it's the dark brown, and she is a new layer so that's about as dark as she'll get. Second pics, those hens were 4 years old, so color had lightened a bit each year.
