Hello everyone,

Recently my blue Swedish duck quack turn into a quite raspy quack while my Pekín stays loud as always. Does that mean I got a male Swedish and female Pekín? I added a video below

The Blue Swedish is definitely a drake.

But the other one just doesn't voice itself much, so its hard to tell. If she's loud when you are around her, then probably she is a girl.

Does the peking honk or do a quack that sounds almost like a honk?

I forgot to add...I have some pekings like that and the girl pekings sound slightly different than smaller ducks. The peking girls can sound almost like a deep honk quack, but my smaller female non pekings don't sound honky.

This confused me a lot when trying to learn how to tell the difference between them.
