I have been wondering about the gender of all 8 of my chicks who are now 9-11 weeks old I believe, any idea what gender they are?

You’ll know for sure by 12 weeks old, but if they’re 9-11 weeks already, most of them are looking pulletish to me! I will add that if they are younger than this then the darker birds are suspicious, but it depends what breeds they are a mix of as I would expect the combs to be more red in most by 11 weeks.

I would be suspicious of 1,3,4,7,9 and 10 actually since those seem to be pinker than the rest. Also the birds in 1,7 and 9 seem to be developing more color on their shoulder areas - often indicative of a male. I am not sure on breeds though. And these are just my guesses, a few more weeks and you should be able to tell for sure.

Their breed is mixed with an Austra White and a Rhode Island Red

Do you have pictures of the parents?
The dark chick in the last photo appears to have a pea comb, which should not be possible when the parents are those breeds. Photo 3 is either the same dark chick, or another one that also appears to have a pea comb.
