See those long, blond, pointy feathers handing down in front of his tail? Hens won't ever, ever have those. Same for the feathers hanging from his neck--they're male sex characteristics.

Depends on your local market. Around here, I can't hardly give them away. You can always list him for $10 or $20 and see if anyone wants to pay that, and if no takers list him as free.

yep that is a cockerel. I agree with Donrae. And maybe you could look aorund on craigslist before hand and kind of see what people are asking for a general idea.
