1 of the black copper marans is a cockerel. I think #5. I'm impressed with the red comb and waddle development in #1. For my hens that didn't happen till weeks 17-19, right before laying. That said, both 1 and 6 look like pullets.

So at 5 weeks 6s pea comb was red with three rows and I’ve heard “three rows it will crow”
 
well, that's interesting. None of my French copper marans have ever had a pea comb. The roosters have all been similar to your number 5. A very obvious and "classic" red comb. It'll be interesting to see how that develops.
