He's the Son of Batman

Batman was my 1st ever chicken. He's a white frizzle roo. My cousin ordered a batch of chicks and hand raised them, and she ended up with a couple too many roos from her pullet order. So, she lives down in Oregon. Every summer we have a family reunion campout in central Washington, so for her it's bout a 4-5 hour drive. They drove him up in their motorhome and he camped with us, sleeping in our tent in his little porta-cage.

The poor camp host I'm sure was not expecting crowing.

anyhow I decided to hatch some of his eggs with ElizaJane #2, one of our 2 barred rocks. This is what we got.

I have 2 more eggs incubting but am not sure who their mama is since we have 4 girls laying now. so excited to meet the 2 new ones!
