chapter 13 sorry extremely short

"HERE THEY COME!" Faith screeched as the Two legged came back into the coop they all scattered.
"mama..."
"SHHHHHH"
The two legged looked confused then grabbed a net. He reached towards faith and the chicks.
"GRRRRR STAY AWAY!"faith growled.
The two legged just bumped her with the net and grabbed sympathy and trickster.
"NO!"Faith jumped up and bit his hand. While he was trying to get away from the angry hen he tripped and opened the coop door all of the chickens
flooded out the chicks wiggled from his grasp and chased their mom.
"MAMA!" faith scooped them up and held them under her wing. All of the chickens ran out to the corn field where they could hide.

Faith and the chicks weaved through the tall corn stalks.
"MAMA!" trickster said "where are we going?"
"Far away. So they won't take you."
"Mama..i'm scared " sympathy whispered
"we are almost to where we can set up camp"
Sympathy and trickster's little legs couldn't walk much farther.
"Come on little ones! we are almost there..."
Faith looked up at the starry night sky. All the chickens stopped.
"Here looks good, Don't ya think, mate?" Elliott looked around
" ya the kids are exhausted." all the chickens settled down in the grass and went to sleep...
