Genesis 1588 Toggle switch model - NEED HELP with adjusting temps

I have an older model 1588 Genesis Hovabator. I need to lower the factory setting temps slightly.

I've printed the pdf file from GQF MFG and have tried for 2 days to adjust the temps. I am ready to SCREAM.

Can any one advise? I need to lower the temps 1 degree.

I toggled all switches off.
I toggle 1, 5, 6, 7, 8 ON.

The light blinks rapidly, BUT nothing seems to happen.

The PDF file says something about
Turning everything off
Then turning the 4 switch on.

When I do this the blinking turns into a slow blink.

STILL NOTHING SEEMS TO HAPPEN....

PLEASE ADVISE....

ONE Degree is all that stops me from setting eggs - -

Yeah, that gets real confusing. I had an awful time trying to get it adjusted.

What dip switch do you leave on when you get finished? My factory setting was 4, but when I turned 4 off and turned 3 on, the temperature dropped close to a degree, which was all I needed.

I would try calling GQF customer service.

1 degree might just have them hatch a day early.
What kind of eggs are they?

If it is at 100* it won't hurt them.

It is 101.5 without adjustments. That is too high for my liking.

I sent a couple of emails to GQF and am waiting for a response.

I was just hoping that a few of our BYC members would have some personal experience with this model and could remind me how to lower the temps a degree or two.

I did end up restoring the factory default with the 4 switch up. Then I turned it off and turned the 3 on.
I am happy with the 100.1 that I have now.
