It feels cooler in the brooder room because of less liquid air. We hatch about 30 chicks every 15 days. It was every 10 days but the 3rd bator broke.
It is now bi monthly vs tri monthly.
We are in factory mode. But still take great care and exceptional pride and compassion towards each of them until re homing. The perks are that we keep the cream of the crop.
Or in this case, the tiny tims as well. Poor little fella!
Going to rural king in an hour or so. I will look for a liquid vitamin supplement!

A little late.. been a busy day. Here are somewhat better pics. She has no neck and her crop seems like it is going to explode because it is so expanded.

Feel along the back of her head down towards the shoulder. Her throat appears to be normal length, so she's likely holding her head in, with her neck forming an S-shape. You may need to apply gentle pressure to the base of the head towards the ground to get a good look at the neck.

Her throat and belly is so packed and stuffed. It seems like she might have digestion probs.
We put her in the hospital brooder with VIP(very important pullet) and she now has a far less aggressive bunk mate to share quarters with.
