Genetic refresher course needed on blues.

Both blue to blue and blue to black give you 50% blue. The difference is that blue to blue splits the other 50% between black and splash versus 50% black.

For 100% blue you need to breed black to splash.

Contact me later this spring as I am setting up a splash pen.

I will have a splash cock over splash and blue hens. The egg color might not be as great as some of my other pens, but the resulting chicks will be mostly splash.
