Gideon smiled, "Sounds good. Okay, everyone who's scouting the border tonight, start making preparations. I want a few people to take stock of food and water supplies and a few others to go check the nurse's office for medical supplies. Five groups of three, check the campus for anyone else. Connie, I think I'm forgetting something. Any ideas?"

"I think Dirk still needs some help checking for weapons at campus security, but that's about everything." Connie looked around and, seeing Jenna looking confused and disoriented, motioned for her to come over towards her and Gideon.

Seeing the expression on her face, Avis waved Jenna over.

Jenna walked over to the group. She slid through the crowd to then, unconsciously avoiding touching anyone.
"Guys, what's going on?" she asked quietly, still keeping her hands over her ears.

Cass sighed, "You wouldn't believe. We all have superpowers from animal DNA, there's a giant barrier around the island and you die if you touch it. Sylvester ran tests on most of us to find out what was in us, but he touched the Barrier and - well..."

(I think we might need to use some NPC's in some or all of the different task groups, cause it seems like a lot of the characters are controled by people who haven't been online in a while)

Upon hearing Avis volunteer in his group, Dirk's heart skipped a beat, but luckily his mind continued functioning normally. "Nice to know there are others here who can handle a gun." He quickly turned away before his face went red again, saying "I need one more person to help check the security building, anyone willing?"

(Jenna might go... that could be... interesting. Her around potentially loud things and Dirk alone with two girls... ;D )

"WHAT!?!" Jenna shrieked. Two fine streams of liquid shot at Cass's face, missing her by only a few centimeters. Jenna's hand flew to her mouth in shock. She froze as she felt two long, slender, needle-like fangs protruding from her mouth.
"Oh. My. God," she breathed shakily. She felt a prickle run across her scalp and realized that her hair was puffed out like a cat's whiskers. "Oh my God."

(srry I haven't been on lately. I've been really busy w/school and stuff.)

"I'll go too." Julia said. She bit the inside of her mouth. This was really nerve racking. Though, she'd watched many movies about being trapping on shields/barriers. Never would she have imangined herself being in the situation, and have animal DNA powers. It was all very confusing and scary at the same time.
