Wow. Ok, time to have my charrie rejoin the rp. (After I remember what-all she can do.) Btw, I'm almost done with a male charrie. I noticed that we are starting to need more of those.

(They're all barricading themselves inside the main school building to make a stand against... them. All except for Kathryn and three nameless extras who rushed outside for reasons of nobody-knows-why. lol)

Kathryn paused as she reached the outside of the school,it seemed like their was a charging river of monsters streaming towards it.I must be an idiot.She thought.She gripped the knife firmly in her hand and got ready to pepper spray some eyes.She stood perfectly still,waiting till the monsters were an inch away from her.

As Kathryn ran outside, three boys, blinded by fear and bravery, ran outside right behind her. They had barely been out the doors twenty seconds when a few of the creatures with wings appeared over the buildings of the campus. There were four of them, coming from high up in the sky. Without warning, two of them dove towards the exposed highschoolers. They headed towards two of the boys with claws barred and mouths agape. One of the boys was able to dive out of the way in time, but the other was not so lucky. The creature screeched in and grabbed the teen right off his feet and hauled him up into the sky, screaming all the way. Once he was up high enough, the creature released him, letting him fall until he was caught again in mid-air by the second of the pair. This was repeated several times, each time the boy was further punctured by claws and teeth and injected with more potent venom, until the young man's cries died out. The creatures then unceremoniously dropped his lifeless corpse down amongst the students standing outside. No sooner than the first pair finished, the second pair began to dive in towards Kathryn and the other boy there.

Upstairs in the top floor of the school, Dirk was setting up a makeshift sniper's nest. He had opened the windows about halfway in the front room, and grabbed a pillow to rest the M1 Carbine he had on to help stabilize the weapon and improze his accuracy. He began to take aim as some of the other students came up with guns in hand. He took a few shots at the pair of flying creatures that had attacked the one boy just moments before, hitting one in a wing and causing it to fall out of the air. He quickly took aim at the second, trying to line upthe shot as best he could to save on currently-precious ammunition.

Avis took the window next to Dirk. She stood in front of the window and tried to calm her breathing. It's just like shooting skeet…except the pigeons shoot back. BOOM! A face shot. She grinned in satisfaction. Take that you ugly *@$^@%&. She aimed again.

Kathryn watched in horror as the limp body fell to the ground.She was frozen for a couple of seconds,staring blankly at the corpse.Anger suddenly burned inside her and her fists clenched. I won't let them kill us all!I won't!She thought and turned to face the monster,glaring at it defiantly. For a split second fear came back to her as she saw it's gleaming claws and snakes ready strike out and inject their venom.Taking a deep breath she set aside her fear and with her confidence restored at the last second before the beast could grab her she reached up,spraying it in the face with pepper spray.She wasn't sure if it would effect it but why not?She then jumped to the side and stuck the knife into it's chest,letting it slice down it's body as it passed.

The creature squealed in agony as the blade of the knife sliced into its abdomen, tearing through blood vessels and vital organs. It weakly struggled on, trying to climb to gain some altitude, but quickly floundered and fell limp to the ground. Even more of the Flyers appeared over the trees as the last one of the first group came in for another diving attack. Dirk never gave it the chance. As it cruised past the window he was set up at, he fired a few carefully-aimed shots from the antique rifle, the third and final 30-06 shell removing the left half of the creature's head entirely. "YEAH!" he yelled out the window at the rest of the monsters circled above. As he fired several more shots at the beasts, he screamed "YOU HEAR THAT?!? That's the sound of DIE MOTHER*******S!!!" Another Flyer dropped out of the air within a few seconds with a bullet through its lungs, but they kept on coming. Most of the non-flying creatures were being held back for now by Connie's very hasty barricade on the front gates, but it was beginning to give way and some of the Runners had managed to get inside already and were on their way towards the students.

At about the same time, Connie ran out of the doors with fire in her eyes. She immediately went straight for one of the 25-foot tall lamp-posts that lined the pathways. When she reached it, she reached down to the base of the steel pole, tore it out of the sidewalk, and squeezed the end of it down to a size that she could easily hold. Wielding the pole like a 1-ton steel club, she positioned herself near Kathryn and the others, ready for a fight. Alright you ugly ****s, she said to herself but unknowingly said out loud as well. I don't know where the **** you came from, or what the **** you are, but you just killed one of the only people who still loved me. Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned, and you've gone and ******-off a She-Hulk... Let's dance...
