I'm not quite sure what you are trying to say? Do you mean the name or the genetics?

They’re fast-feathering, rather than slow-feathering, which means their pattern is cuckoo. Caused by the same barring genes but on a fast-feathering bird. I’m not sure if there’s a fast/slow-feathering gene on that calculator.

I did know that about barred/cuckoo. Cochins are slow feathering like other Asiatic breeds, so that would make them barred and not cuckoo (the SOP also calls for barred). There is unfortunately no fast/slow feathering gene on the calculator.

Oh, I didn’t know that. I assumed they were cuckoo, due to my own cochin rooster. I guess he was just hatchery quality, not a good representation of the variety.
