So I’m still confused, mainly because of the genetics, will they stay white then?The white is dominate white from the isa moms. They only have one copy of the gene so that allows some black to show. Two copies they would be completely white.
Dominate white covers black but doesn't cover gold/ buff/ etc. That's why the isa moms only show white where their feathers would of been black if they didn't carry dominate white.
The dads black basically made the chicks black then the moms white covered it.
Thanks, I guess I thought they would look more like the Isa Browns with black spots, didn’t know about the dominant white. I appreciate the info.They will stay white with black specks.
