They're shorter then the ones I usually end up with. My Show Quality bantam silkies have longer wings then the LF Chinese Silkies. The feathers are developed.

That's pretty interesting, perhaps it's genetics and could lead to a flightless Chicken?

A flightless chicken could be handy for people trying to keep them inside a fence. Obviously not so good in free ranging situations with predators.

I have Largefowl Silkies with larger wings as well. That was just the best picture I had for comparison right now.

Big Splot. There's a pupil in the middle, just had bad lighting, & flash did no good.
