You are having a problem with lacing in Birchen? I have two pullets that are finely laced throughout thier body with the exception of wing and tail primaries. they are young and soon to be mated back to thier father. Are you working LF or Bantam?
We may have our wires crossed- my goal is single lace on ER: Co/Co, Ml/Ml, Pg/Pg, Db/Db, same as on sebrights. I want the laced tails on large fowl. As far as I know, all single laced large fowl are on eb- laced body with black tails(wyandottes, brahmas).
On birds with suspected(admittedly a very novice guess on my part) ER/eWh Co/Co Ml/Ml Pg/Pg Db/Db they are almost solid white with faint, pencil thin lacing on feathers.(it doesn't look good) Otherwise I have no idea why they would be so white.. Some other birds would show fair/not so great lacing on wings/back but their breasts would be so light, with very minimal lacing was guessing those were wheaten carriers too..
