I have a pair of ash red pigeon
And they hatch I think 3 rounds of ash red babies already but this time I got a blue bar and ash red. Where do you guys think the blue bars came?
I think maybe there is a blue somewhere in the pedigree
What do you guys think?
Here is a picture of the babies

Yes thanks you
You will most likely see blue flecks in the cockbirds tail and flight feathers. This means he carries one allele for blue and one for ash red. As stated by @Old-clucker-55 , any blues from this pair will be hens. Ash reds from this pair may be hens or cocks.

However, if you put this hen with a blue cock then all of the male babies will be ash red and all of the female babies will be blue.
