I need a genetics qeuestion answered please. With silkies how do you get Lavenders? What do you cross? They are now an accepted color.

sadly for you the parents will not determan what colour the chicks are but if it did work it would be black and white

just keep breeding all your silkies you can not tell from the colour but 2 silkies will create lavender chicks together good luck

You need to start with lavender silkies, or blacks carrying the lavender gene (lav splits).
