Sounds like there is plenty of interest for a swap most anywhere. I think we need to nail down a location (or locations) to get a definite group of potential attendees to your area. Then you can move forward with a date. That being said...

Chix-in-Ga and I live in the same area and could co-host a gathering here in Nashville Georgia. We are in the deep south end of Georgia, about 35 miles north of the Florida line, and 15 miles east off I-75. I have a big area with lots of space for a gathering and it's in a rural setting. Plenty of parking room and plenty of space for eating and for kids to roam. Chix has already offered his place which would work well, too. But I'll let him chime in on that.

I guess if we get some responses to our specific area, then we can start a thread for that one event.

The arena is about 1 hour and 15 minutes west of Atlanta. It's only about 15 minutes from the AL state line.

We will be getting together Saturday Feb 21 at Lilliput Ranch 651 McBrayer drive , Vincent Al 35178 . starting at about 9 am . Anyone interested can bring your poultry , eggs or other small farm animals or even farm related stuff to trade with others . I'm sure there will be some for sale if you just want to buy . This is Not Me but it is a GOOD CAUSE!!

WILD GAME COOK-OFF will be held Saturday Feb 21 from 1 pm til 3 pm at Pleasant Mount Baptist Church, Pine Mountian. Food sampling Booths will be Open, and Bluegrass band will entertain from 2pm til 3 pm. Game Prepareswill include venison, fish, pheasant, duck and emu. beef and Chicken chilli will be served for not-so-wild food fans. Anyone interested in cooking a favorite wild gamedish may volunteer by calling (PM me and I will get them numbers to ya) Proceeds from Donations accepted during the event will go to BLOUNT COUNTY COURT-APPOINTED SPECIAL ADVOCATES ( CASA) an organization that represents the interests of abused and foster children in county court cases.
