~ * GeorgiaLina Chickenstock 2011 * Augusta, Georgia ~

I received a call from Iwanta. They said this event qualifies as a paid advertising because items will be bought and sold. $10 for the first 10 words and 90 cents per word thereafter. So, no ad there.

HOW COOL!!!!!!!!!

I saw this advertized on the Augusta Craigslist.......I will be there!! (Hopefully not working because I'm a TSC employee too! LOL!) I will ask for it off!

I do have a horse and could do pony rides if you haven't found anyone yet, but I've only got one. He's fabulous and has done this a gazillion times before. He would be fine by himself or could work with another if someone else has one. I just don't want to be held liable for anything! (You know how people are!)

I also have some chicks, teenagers (the birds! LOL) and adults I would love to sell or swap. I'm just trying to downsize a bit because my projects are going in different directions. I have bantams: D'Uccles, Cochins, and many Silkies, INCLUDING PAINTS!!!!! I've been working on a porcelain Silkie project that is producing anything but! LOL! But the color of the offspring is pretty unique.....it's like a buff over blue instead of lavender. I may bring some of them just for fun!

Let me know if you need any help, Oneofseven, you should still have my phone number. Thanks for hosting this, and I'm glad I saw it now and didn't miss out!

See; this is why chicken swaps are good things! After searching through the internet looking for D'Uccles for quite a while (and finally hatching some out from ebay eggs and getting chicks from a hatchery) I've found there are at least two local folks with them!

I'm debating bringing some of my mille fleur cochin bantam cockrells to the swap.

I like the flyer! Thanks David. I will be taking a few flyers around to a few local feed stores this afternoon and into the weekend. Look forward to meeting everyone or seeing others for a second or third time!

I need a count of the people that are going to be needing a table. If you have your own, that's great. I still need a vendor's list. I also want to thank you for posting the info at different places. I have gotten several inquiries.
