The Delaware girls have slowed during the cold snap so I put the only 2 eggs I got from them in the bator and both hatched -- so that's good fertility/hatch rates. We're saving all of the eggs we get this week to sell as hatching eggs on Saturday!

This is a great idea. I wanted to do this for our swap in Irmo, but it wasn't as big a crowd as the Carolina one so i decided against it. What does everyone else think?

I think it is a great idea. Oneofseven, I will be bringing 1 Production Red and 1 GC both 24 weeks old and about to start laying; 2 GCs been laying for 2 months and possibly a Americauna mix near point of lay.

Danny/SubU,
What chickens do you or will you have if you bring those girls? You're not getting rid of them altogether are you???

I am looking to sell those 4 possibly 5. I still would have 7 others to include the 2 red stars you gave me, 1 of the two Americaunas Lisa gave me, 1 BR, 2 black stars, and a RIR.

"10/31/2011 4:06 pm I am gonna bring my entire OEGB flock, I have blacks, whites, creles and barred. only about 8-10 chickens though. I am getting rid of them to get some serama and keeping my Buff orpingtons for eggs. Farmer John, are you bringing BO hens or roos and will you have any BO chicks? I would like to add 2-3 to my flock."

I'm bringing a BO rooster that just this week announced he's a boy.
