I looked in the standards too...British standards. Even the standards can't agree

I'd previously heard them referred to as Russian Orloffs.
They are nice though.

Yeah, I've heard them called that too. But I was asked once during Showmanshop where Orloffs originated. I distinctly remember being angry at the judge cause he said Russia, marking me down, but I looked it up and shoved the book in the judge's face with a "neener neener look I was right" look on my face. lol.

Ok, here is a list of some german breeds:

- Annaberger Strupphuehner(Annaberger Frizzle chickens)
- Augsburgers
- Vogtlaender
- Krueper
- Bergische Schlotterkaemme
- Reichshuehner
- Dresdners
- Kaulhuehner
- Thueringer Barthuhn(Thuringer Bearded Hen)
- Westfaelische Totleger(Westfalian Deathlayers, since they will lay until the very end!)
- Vorwerk
- Lakenfelder
- Niederrheiner
- Sundheimers
- Sachsenhuhn
- Ostfriesische Moevchen(EastFriesian Gulls)
- Bielefelder kennhuehner
- Deutsche Sperber
- Bergische Kraeher
- Altsteirer

I am sure there is more but I must be honest I will read my german standard of perfection in more detail later.

As for Translating German, I can do that, Was born there and moved over here only 7 yrs ago I can read german perfectly fine, although the speaking sometimes needs some thinking over since english has become so automatic when answering a question. No matter if asked in english or german! Mom and I we kinda talk a mix of english and german and will mix the languages in 1 sentence. My poor stepdad who doesn't speak a word of german just kinda sits there going

Are you looking for pullets or cockerels, or does it matter? I may have a couple of Silver Lakenvelders in my brooder now and if they're cockerels I won't be able to keep them. And I'm in NC!

Only pullets. I would be interested if they are both pullets, but do not need any roos. I have 17 right now that I am waiting to send to the fridge. I am not going to breed and do not want to put up with roos on the farm. Where in NC are you located?
