German New Hampshire

On facebook, there are New Hampshire groups and usually each state has some poultry swap pages. Ebay too, but I am a little guarded when it comes to ebay, I will buy from there, but only if I can really research them thoroughly. Also, this is probably a good start, maybe someone in this thread has some.

What do you have available? We talking pullets, hens, or eggs? I have only seen 2 New Hampshire hens close to me, and they were probably hatchery birds by the looks of them.

I am going to put our 2 Delawares with him for sex links too.

I'm going to be setting up the breeding pens next week and I believe that I will have an extra pullet/hen, and a cockerel. The pullet or hen will be pure German, and the cockerel will most likely be a German /Reese cross. I should also have eggs in another month...stan

I would like to congratulate Cathy Gleason for a nice placement this weekend at Bluebonnet/Tx show her New Hampshire cockerel had Reserve American which is a supurb honor as it was an awesome RIR(Texas has lots of them) that bested her for the first place in class that Red went on and got Reserve Champ of the show.

First hatch of the season and ever for me of this breed :) 25 set and all developed fully to lockdown. 22 hatched, two never pipped and one pipped and died. Hatch completely finished and chicks fluffy day 22.

Some of the chicks have some darker brown markings on their heads, is this indicative of anything?
