if he didn't try and get in that pen there is no husky in him, husky sherpherd mix wouldn't leave that alone!... I would say retriever or duck toller (like a lab but redish with a redish brown nose)

He looks an awful lot like my sister's dog, which is a husky/lab mix. With the coloring they initially thought rotwieller/lab, but the dog wasn't nearly big enough or built for that cross. My sister's dog is great, but death on toys, she gets the sqeaker out in seconds.

Both my shepherd and my BC are big babies!
