German Shepherd Puppys Legs???

He primarily eats Chicken Leg Quarters. He gets organ (usually chicken liver) 2x a week, along with fish oil capsules. And every other day he gets raw egg with shells. He isn't overweight and some may call him "thin" I think for a growing pup he is "just right" I really dont know about his genetics as he and his whole litter was rescued and bottle fed from 3 weeks. His "breeder" was going to throw them outside if he didnt find a home for them in the next 2 days so me and my sister took on the whole litter.

He needs more protein sources.
Chicken is supposed to be only the first 2 weeks. Then you add in other meats to make it all balanced.
Is the fish oil salmon oil? You also need to be giving vit E with the salmon oil to help their system break it down.
Vit C is also a supplement given with a raw diet.

Here is a thread with many raw menu diets for a GSD. This should help you fill in what you are missing in his diet.

I agree, that is not going to be a nutritionally balanced raw diet. When I had my older dog on raw (when he was the only dog we had)....I used different cuts of beef, chicken, and pork...for organs I used beef liver, chicken gizzards and hearts, chicken liver, tripe. I also gave him "whole prey" in the form of frozen feeders meant for snakes...piglets, guinea pigs, rats, mice, hamsters, gerbils......might sound disturbing, but really not any different from cut up meat, except he was getting the WHOLE animal...which in my opinion is a good thing! You need to make a raw diet as varied as possible because one species source is not going to have ALL the nutrition necessary for growth and general wellbeing.
