Floor is in, just have to make doors and I could move birds in if needed. I'd have to shovel the hay loft out, though, or it'd collapse. Can we say PAIN IN THE REAR?
So sorry your rear will have pain!:hugs i sometimes make doors but at habitat for humanity i sometimes find good exterior doors cheap like the one on my cedar siding coop. 20171014_133435.jpg
Look at that, the zombies made my coop pictures float up into the cloud!:lau

 I'm still in denial about the forecast. Maybe it'll be a freak warm-up and just rain.

Yeah, i have tiny beans on my plants and i need to build a cold frame or 3. But the chickens need more space badly. I have 24 birds in a 4x 10 space , though they have a huge run they can access any time, they need more perches in there too. They just grow way too fast!

I have 30 in an 6 x 8.
They free range in day but I still feel bad, hence my hurry. They definitely can't spend winter in there.

Tonight my chickens have a new tarp on the north side of their run. The pop door to the chicken coop is shut, and the windows are closed. The bunnies have a new tarp over the front of their hutch, and each has a box with shavings to sleep in. Getting ready for winter, a day at a time. It was chilly and raining on and off so i chose to clean a bit and cook meatloaf and mashed potatoes, plus meatballs for tomorrow. Meat in the belly keeps you warm.

Ha I plow my neighbors too, and the year I didn't bring it up before halloween and it snowed on halloween... yep they said it was my fault
That is nice of you to help them. I think we will just let it melt, our driveway is like 400 feet long.
