(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
We got our chickens last April. It's been so much fun learning about them and how to take care of them. I am new to backyard chickens.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
10 hens
(3) What breeds do you have?
Blue sapphire gems
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
I love learning about them, observing their antics, and watching them grow.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Reading, yoga, riding my bike, hiking, and camping.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
1 little dog who loves the chickens until one pecked her on the nose. The chickens have kept my family entertained while we've been cooped up due to covid this past year.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
Google lead me to you guys. I always need chicken advice!
