Getting 2 baby Alpacas tonight, any tips on care for them?

Just wanted to say make sure you have a good deworming program, especially if they are kept with goats. They are VERY susceptible to intestinal parasites, to the point that they easily get anemic and can die. I treated one with a PCV of 6%

She made it, but it took a lot of intensive care (& $ on the owner's part). Have fun with them!!

okay..heres the new babies...and i seperated ones coat to show that they are indeed white...

also, how do i care for their coats??i am assuming you dont bathe these guys...*wouldnt THAT BE FUN??!

* do you brush them??

anyway, you can hopefully see that one of their coats is more curly (almost like a sheep) and the other is more shaggy/straight looking...

They are going to end up living in your house / You mine as well move out into you shed for the goats and put all the animals in your house . You could turn each bedroom into a chicken coop , pig pen,COW pen

Are they sleeping on dog beds ???

HAHA ur crazy . My moms friend called us over to her uncles farm today to get some free cracked corn and they said come in the barn and when i did there were baby cows every where . There was this one that kept licking me and i thought oh its like a dog so i let it lick my face ...Boy was i wrong there tongues are like sand paper but there fur is soft . I thought about you as soon as i seen them . I said Wendy would be going crazzy ........Wait crazierr (ur already crazy )
