Getting 9 eggs a day from only 8 birds. How?

Are any of them new to laying? Sometimes new layers will lay 2 in a day while they are still figuring things out.

They are between 8 and 11 months old. We started getting an 8th egg about a month ago, so yes some are new!

I have never heard, or witnessed a duck lay two eggs in a day - Ovulation in birds is roughly 24 hours, so unless there is active egg binding slowing down the egg-laying processes I find it unlikely that would occur.
