Getting a lot closer!

What size is the chicken area? What do you plan on putting in that area and how many chickens?

The inside chicken area is right about 5’x10’. It will probably just have the roosts and nest boxes in it. Right now we have 3 chickens. When they move into this coop, we’ll get probably 4 more. After that, I’m not sure. I don’t think I want more than 15. Still debating on how big the outside run will be. We’re going to cover it now, and it’s probably easier to work with 10’ metal roof panels, so it might be ~10’ wide instead of 12’ like the width of the building. And somewhere around 15-20’ long.

If you make the nest box part of the wall you can collect the eggs from the outside. I wish I had 50 sq ft of coop for my 9 RIR's.

Haven’t updated since we pretty much finished all the major elements! And we got 8 more chickens once the coop was done for a total of 11 now!!

Nicely done! Its been awhile, any updates, thoughts on anything you'd do differently? I'd love to know the dimensions of the total area. I'm loving the idea of cutting off part of the coop with an iside door to prevent escapes and for food and bedding storage.
