Does the buy/sell/trade go to Canada? I think it's illegal but IDGF haha, joking. I have 9 coturnix, and 4 button, want to get valley or bobwhite for Summer/Spring + some for my Mentor (he loves birds).

I don't know. I do know, however, that you can't officially even bring houseplants into Canada without getting in trouble, yet people do it all the time...

I found mine on craigslist, like loveofchickens suggested... Usually there will be some not too far away! I was looking for the same thing as you, but i suppose Coturnix are too nervous to ship? Maybe that's not true.

I found some on craigslist as well. It's taken awhile for someone to post the ones I'm looking for, but I'm going to look at them today! (woot!) You can always post on craigslist saying you're looking for something too, if there aren't any listed.

Here's a list of a few gamebird producers I found in Kentucky on the North American Gamebird Assn. site. They all have quail listed, doesn't specify if they do Coturnix.....Bobs seem to be most popular with producers who cater to hunting/release applications....but plenty of them certainly do Coturnix as well. And if not they might be able to point you in the right direction at least . Hope this helps!
