So, we have two, couple month old Khakis and two, one year old Pekins and the Pekins often case and sometimes bite at the khakis and I was wondering if there was a way to make them get along better? The Pekins are one girl and one boy and the khakis are too young to determine gender. We also wanted to introduce one more girl to our flock and I was think maybe a full grown welsh? Would that work? How would I do that so they'd get along? Or is there any other better breeds to add? Thanks!

Much of it is up to the ducks! But I have found that starting slowly, letting them see each other from opposite sides of a fence for a while (while = a few hours to a few days) till they seem comfortable with each other, then letting them have face time - supervised - multiple times - till your instincts tell you they are safe together.

Some chasing and poking is normal. Biting, scratching, piling on top of each other means separate them and try again later.

The shortest time it took for new ducks to be accepted by the flock was two hours. The longest - well, I have a Buff trio who are still a separate flock.

Give everybody treats at the same time - my ducks seem to adapt more quickly when there are treats involved, and fresh swim water.
