Getting close to laying?

My barred rocks and buffs look about like this on the Combs and waddles at 15 weeks today. Thinknwere getting close or do I most likely have a few more weeks?

I would say a few more weeks. both my barred rock and buff brahmas combs/waddles got really ruby red before laying.

Already been confirmed pullet by dozens so I'm not concerned there

Ok, usually i’m wrong on the gender anyways! I’m glad you know they are pullets. I think you will have to wait a couple more weeks before eggs though. 15 weeks is really early.

Then I would say you have a couple weeks yet

My BR started laying at 23 weeks

and my buffs started at 26 and 27 weeks.

The bird is a pullet. Looks like she has another month to go!
